Background

As of July 2022, over 84 million copies of have been sold worldwide. The series has been published in English by VIZ Media under the Shonen Jump Advanced imprint since April 5, 2005, and as 3-in-1 omnibus volumes since February 18, 2025. It has also been simulpub digitally through MANGA Plus. The series has been released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC since January 2008; in Spanish by Panini Comics since October 2012; in Italian by Panini Comics since May 20, 2004; and in Polish by Waneko since May 16, 2023. The manga has been serialized irregularly since 2006 due to Yoshihiro Togashi's health problems.
